As a middle grade sucker when i got the offer to review this ARC from Pegasus Publishers I couldn’t resist it. I started reading this one as I received the ebook and begun my reading quest just before my mid semester exams, and trust me when I say that I finished this book overnight even when I took some reading time due to my exams, but I couldn’t stop myself from reading it completely and thus this book becomes one of mine most favourite middle grade book of the year.
Although this book contains a list of characters but Chloe is the outstanding character for me even though the books main concern is Chloe’s grandmother Crystal. I basically liked the way the author developed her character from the start till end, how she knock some sensibility and responsibilities in her. And the tale the Author narrates is so charismatic, like i absolutely feels like i’m that i’m not just the reader it feels like i’m actually on a quest.
Shari Penny has done a fantastic job while writing her debut book and i’m glad that I got the chance to read it as well. such a terrific yet a fascinating tale.
